It all begins with the customer but it ends with the United States Postal Service.  That's why it is critical to our success that the Post Office not only regards Automated as a true "partner," but as a company characterized by competence, integrity, and quality.

Being one of less than twenty mailing services nationwide to have achieved the "Mail Preparation Total Quality Management" certification from the United States Postal Service certainly enhances that reputation.

MPTQM is a quality management system and review modeled after the Malcolm Baldridge and ISO 9000 programs.  Customized to meet the specific and unique needs of the mailing industry, the Mail Preparation Total Quality Management certification, while strictly voluntary, is nonetheless rigorous and comprehensive.  During the initial and subsequent reviews, the Postal Service evaluates eleven areas including mail collection and receiving systems, processing, quality inspection systems, and continuous improvement management.  Within the 11 areas, 73 standards are evaluated for a total of 164 possible points.  Automated Mailing Systems has consistently achieved perfect scores on annual reviews.
